With the forecasted frigid cold temperatures this weekend please take some time to ensure your home and pipes are ready for the cold! If you live in a mobile or manufactured home please ensure that you have adequately insulated skirting up, that you have heat tape installed and turned on. If you have a sprinkler system, be sure they are blown out and winterized and be sure any outside hoses are unhooked. You can also leave cabinets and closets open to keep pipes from freezing up in vulnerable areas of your home. Please be mindful of letting your water drip to keep from freezing, it is sewer averaging time and excess water usage can negatively impact your sewer bill for the upcoming year.
